I had seen sketch books people had made of their travels before.
I had never seen one actually being done!
It was wonderful watching Carole Davies at work. While the rest of us were busy with our cameras, Carole would be sketching in her sketch book.
Since coming home Carole has re-visited her sketch book and completed it.
The web version of the sketch book is in two parts.
A Holy Land Sketch Book 1
The first takes us from the airport at Tel Aviv to Bethlehem, Jerusalem and on to Jericho and the Dead Sea.
A Holy Land Sketch Book 2
The second part takes us from Bethlehem, through the Jordan Valley to Galilee, Mount Carmel, Mount Tabor and via Caesarea Maritima back to the airport at Tel Aviv.
